On 28th February, Aceh TV came to our weekly meeting to cover the activities of Kutaradja Banda Aceh Toastmasters Club. In the meeting, our theme was News. The club had news session on Table Topic Session where members and guests took roles as newscaster, TV journalist and infotainment host!! Aceh TV broadcasted the news on the same day at 19.30 Aceh time.

Antony is a Toastmaster member from Medan who is now transferred to Banda Aceh for new assignment as Branch Manager of Bank Sinar Mas. Kutaradja Banda Aceh Toastmaster Club was invited to the opening new branch of the Bank Sinar Mas in Peunayong Banda Aceh. The club sent the flower board (picture attached). We  warmly welcome Antony and wishes him pleasant stay in our beloved town (and join our meeting also).

Six persons from Kutaradja BA TM Club went to Medan on Friday-Saturday last week of January 2009  to attend the Club Officer Training. This is  also to receive credit toward one of the goals in the distinguished Club Program (DCP). Apart of the Club Officer Training, there were two other workshops that some of us attended. "The Art of Evaluation" and "Advanced Speakers Evaluation" Workshop. In the session, the facilitator, ACS, CL Dennis Wee , shared useful "know-how" tips on providing effective evaluation.
